RED HAT OTHER COLOR HAT CLASSES

BELOW ARE SEVERAL RED HATS THAT CAN BE MADE UP IN KITS AND DONE IN HAT CLASSES. THE FIRST HATS ARE VICTORIAN HATS. I MAKE THEM UP SPECIAL AND I WILL NEED TO KNOW WHAT COLOR HATS YOU WANT BEFORE I MAKE UP KITS. I HAVE ALSO ADDED OTHER HATS AND HEAD BANDS. THE HEAD BANDS CAN BE MADE FOR ANY OCCASION (MARTI GRAS, CHRISTMAS, 4TH OF JULY, IRISH FESTIVAL, HALLOWEEN, ANY HOLIDAY AND ALSO CAN BE MADE IN SCHOOL COLORS). WE DON'T DO CLASSES FOR JUST RED HATS, WE DO ALL COLORS AND HAVE MANY BASES IN STOCK. SEE THE OTHER HAT CLASSES PAGE. CLICK HERE

CLASSES: PLEASE POLL YOUR MEMBERS AND SEE HOW MANY WANT TO DO THE HAT CLASSES. THE NUMBER OF KITS THAT MUST BE PRE-PAID FOR A CLASS TO MAKE DEPEND ON THE DISTANCE I WILL BE TRAVELING. I DO AT LEAST NEED TO COVER MY EXPENSES AND MAKE A PROFIT BECAUSE I DO THIS AS A BUSINESS. IF YOU ARE IN THE DALLAS AREA, THE NUMBER OF PRE-PAID HAT KITS WILL BE LESS BECAUSE I LIVE IN GARLAND. If THERE IS NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE IN YOUR CHAPTER TO SUPPORT A CLASS, EMAIL ME AND I WILL PUT YOU ON A LIST AND CALL YOU IF I DO ANOTHER CLASS NEAR YOU.

IF YOU HAVE OTHER MEMBERS THAT DON'T WANT TO DO THE HAT KITS & CLASS, OR ONLY WANT TO DO THE HEADBAND, I ASK THAT THEY COME IN THE LAST HOUR OF CLASS, I WILL HAVE SUPPLIES (see here for accessories) AND HATS AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE AT THAT TIME.

# 101 - $35 Victorian Hat Kit includes:

Does not include hat, either furnish you own or buy one of mine, prices from $10-$20, depending on

what I have in stock. If you need a hat, please so indicate and whether you have a small hat size or

large hat size.

SMALL VICTORIAN HAT

Below is a smaller version of the Victorian Style Hat. Kit does not include hat. Instead of netting around

brim, it has lace. Lace color selection is very limited. It has 2 roses, ostrich feathers and a small piece of

ostrich to decorate with. Cost of the kit and instruction to make this hat is $38.00. Cost of hat is $10-20.

This hat requires some basic beginner sewing skills, i.e. gathering the lace and crown. This kit made up into a

hat sells for $65 and up.

#102 - $38 Victorian Hat Kit Includes:

Below is a decorated red hat, you get enough parts in this kit to do more than one hat. Hat not included

#103 - $ 30 Hat Kit Includes:

1. 3 long ostrich feathers

4 IN 1 HAT

This hat kit is costlier because it can be worn 4 different ways and has to be decorated on more than

one side. No sewing on this one, all gluing but lots of trying on to see how each side will look when

decorated.

Large Brim Crocheted Style Hat

This hat kit would include netting, your choice of color, 2-3 red tulips, piece of red, purple

or red/purple chandelle boa, (enough to go around the crown of hat) I have added large one

of a kind purple flower that is additional cost. This hat has been hand dyed and has extra

reinforcing wire along brim to be able to shape it.

This hat is an example of a $20 base hat price, only have a few left like this one, around 10

that I can furnish to hat classes. Cost to make this hat in hat class would be $45 and it

would include hat. Big purple flower on it is extra $$ and is a one of a kind piece.

HEADBANDS

Note: All the pieces on this headband come off and can be used on other hats, etc. You can

also take this headband and use it with all the accessories on it as a headband on a hat so

it very versatile and economical. If you bought all these components separately you would

pay $25.00 for it.

AND STYLE AND SPECIFY COLORS OF BASE, FEATHERS, AND PICKS. $35 TO MAKE,

SOME SEWING REQUIRED, BASIC STITCHES, ALLOW ABOUT 3 HOURS TO MAKE.

SMALL BASE SMALL HATS

# 108A - red satin base, purple marabou on base, 3 purple feathers, 3 rooster feathers, 5 lacy feathers, purple picks

#108B- same as 208A in pink. Rhinestone pin is extra and will have some on hand if I have them.

#108C - Red satin base,

ostrich on top of base, 2 red picks, 3 ostrich feathers.

# 108-THESE 2 HATS ARE THE SAME, RED/PURPLE AND PINK ONE.

Small hats all are $35 for the kit. I will make part of the base, you put the rest of the hat together in a class.

There will be a small charge ($2.00) if you want to change out marabou feathers for ostrich on the base. These

hats have a small base so must specify the item number. These hats have hand dyed long feathers so will need

to know exactly how many your group will want to make so I will have enough of the feathers on hand. Glitzy pins

are optional, not included in price of hat and when available, I have them ranging in price from $5 up.

NOTE: I WILL HAVE EXTRA COMPONENTS AVAILABLE TO SELL AT THE CLASS AND IN SOME CASES,

THERE WILL BE A FEW ITEMS IN KIT THAT WILL BE EXCHANGEABLE FOR OTHER COMPONENTS. I WILL

BE GLAD TO FURNISH BLANK HATS IN THE COLOR REQUIRED. IF I HAVE THE COLOR IN STOCK, PRICE

TO DYE IT. WE CAN ALSO DO SHOWGIRL STYLE HATS BECAUSE I HAVE SOME VERY LARGE LONG RED

FEATHERS WHICH CAN BE PUT ON A FULL HEAD FORM LIKE THOSE LAS VEGAS SHOW GIRLS WEAR. I ALSO

CARRY THE MATERIAL TO DO TWENTIES STYLE HEADBANDS AND LOTS OF RHINESTONE STYLE STONES TO

ADD THAT SPECIAL TOUCH OF GLAMOUR. IF YOU CAN DREAM IT UP, WE CAN MAKE IT OR HELP YOU MAKE

IT. WE HAND DYE A LOT OF OUR FEATHERS SO THEY CAN'T BE PURCHASED ANYWHERE ELSE AND OUR LONG,

SOFT, FLEXIBLE FEATHERS ARE ONE OF THE ITEMS THAT WE FEATURE.
